In Louisiana every hour approximately three people will be diagnosed with cancer. It's time to come together to reduce cancer incidence and mortality. You are now reading the Plan to make it happen. On behalf of all the many partners and agencies who worked together to make this Plan a reality, I want to welcome you to the CD version of the Plan. Together, we dedicate this effort to all those in Louisiana whose lives have been affected by cancer, and to those whose lives will be improved because of this Plan.
